For those of you who love red wine, this week’s tasting was made for you – with wines from the old world and new. Join fellow Sweet Hill Farm wine enthusiasts for convivial conversation over wine and a charcuterie board.
Your tasting experience will include:
Arginao Non Confunditur - IGT – Featuring a blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot grapes, this unique wine is fresh, versatile and rich in aromas with a defined structure. It hails from the Arginao Wine Cellar, Montalcino Italy.
Brady Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon – A vinicultural paradise, Brady Vineyard in Paso Robles, CA produces acclaimed wines. Its Cabernet Sauvignon stands out with its captivating deep crimson hue and enticing aromas of ripe blackberry, currant, and cassis, accented by hints of roasted vanilla and spice. Bold, elegant, and crafted with passion, it's a must-try for any wine enthusiast.
Ilahe Vineyards Pinot Noir – The soil gives Ilahe wines their complexity. One of ten vineyards in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, a prime grape-growing region, the majority of Ilahe’s vineyard lies on marine sediments atop ancient Siletz rock. Its Pinot Noir features aromas of ripe plum, nutmeg, cigar box, and vanilla bean that leap out of the glass.
Château Mont Redon Cotes du Rhone – Located on the right bank of the Rhone River and Northwestern Chateauneuf du Pape region of France, Château Mont Redon is known for the complexity and quality of its wines. The Cotes du Rhone is a blend of Grenache Noir and Syrah with minor additions of Mouvredre and Carignan.
Château Reynaud Lacoste – From Cessac, France, the Lacoste Bordeaux is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot.
